TOKYO – August 23, 2022 - Opn, the one-stop payment solutions company from Japan and Southeast Asia, announced today that it has changed the name of its payment gateway, Omise, to “Opn Payments.”

Along with the name change, the company unveiled a new visual identity for Opn Payments, underscoring the transformation of its renewed strategy under the Opn brand to develop innovative solutions that will make the fintech experience even more seamless and borderless.

Since launching in 2013, Omise has evolved from a payment gateway serving online merchants in Thailand to a regional payments embedded fintech platform serving over 7,000 merchants across six countries.

Opn will continue offering merchants new ways to access digital payment services, and allow marketplaces and platforms to embed payment capabilities such as payment monetization and branded card issuing in the near future.
