Announcement

In our recent announcement, we revealed our decision to transition back to the original name: Omise, after operating as Opn for two years. This move, though seemingly surprising, is deeply rooted in our commitment to our core values and the needs of our customers. Here’s a closer look at the reasoning behind this decision.

A Journey of Discovery

When we transformed into Opn Payments back in 2022, we set out with an ambitious vision to explore beyond traditional payment boundaries. This journey wasn’t about departure but about expansion. We uncovered nuanced pain points in payments that we might never have seen from our original perspective, seeking new possibilities, understanding deeper customer challenges, and reimagining what a payment platform could be.

After two years, we observed a significant trend: the majority of our customers continued to rely on and value us for our trusted payment solutions and financial infrastructure.

The Legacy of Omise

Omise represents more than a brand—it’s a promise of trust, innovation, and delivering seamless, borderless financial experiences. Our customers have always known us as the company that prioritizes talents in technology and user experience. Our recent explorations have absolutely deepened that commitment.

It’s this legacy that prompted our decision to embrace the Omise name once again, reflecting a commitment to deliver the trust and expertise our customers have come to expect.

A New Identity with a Spark of Innovation

Returning to Omise isn’t just about the name—it’s about introducing a refreshed identity that signals our evolution into an exciting new chapter.

As part of the new direction, we’re introducing AI-powered technologies designed to tackle real-world challenges in payment systems. These innovations, ranging from intelligent routing to generative dashboards, are built to enhance user experiences, improve authorization rates, and streamline processes, solving pain points for businesses of all sizes.

Uninterrupted Service

For our merchants, stability and seamless operations remain at the core of everything we do. This transition will not disrupt the payment systems you rely on—whether you’re a small retailer or a large enterprise.

Stability, security, and a seamless experience have always been the pillars of Omise, and we’re committed to delivering uninterrupted service while introducing new innovations to make your payment experience even better.

Launching of the new Omise is a reaffirmation of who we are and what we do best. By focusing on delivering trusted payment solutions, we’re stepping forward with confidence and purpose. With our roots firmly planted and a renewed spark of innovation, we’re creating a smarter, faster, and more seamless future for payments.

Welcome to the next chapter of Omise.
